Category descriptions appearing twice

Anything typed into the category description field in the admin shows up twice on the site. You can see this happening here:

The code says:
<p class="categoriesdescription"><b>Available to ship AUGUST 22nd...pre-order yours today!</b>

<div id="indexProductListCatDescription" class="content"><b>Available to ship AUGUST 22nd...pre-order yours today!</b></div>

I can't tell why this is happening...what is the difference between "categoriesdescription" and "indexProductListCatDescription"?

It sounds like you have added the extra <p class="categoriesdescription">.......... section in your template while customizing.
Zen Cart does not contain anything with that class by default, at least not in v1.3.x. And in v1.2.7, that class is only used on table or TD tags, not P tags.

The second instance you mentioned is the one that "should" be showing, and it is generated in your includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATE/tpl_index_product_list.php file.

Perhaps doing a search through all your site's files for the categoriesdescription class would be the best starting point. Then remove the code that generates it, leaving the proper one to do its job.

Thank you! I forgot that we customized that template, and we were just echoing the description twice.
