Default Need EZ pages to be in common folder.

    No upgrade using 1.3.8a

I have several dealer (sub domain) web sites that all use about 50 pages that are the same for all in HTML web site. I would like to change these pages to EZ pages and have these pages in one folder so all of the web sites can use them. All sites are on the same server so they will be internal pages. I am trying to make this simple for updates on the pages. Change one page and all web site see same change. Where and how would I change the path.

Another question-- I don't use Advance Search, New Products, Specials, and Reviews, have Index Listings value set to 0. How do you keep them from showing up in Site Map?

    Thanks,

    Larry

EZ-Pages don't go in file folders. They are held in your database.

You can suppress files from your site map by over-riding the site map template file (tpl_site_map_default.php).

    Hi Kuroi,

Are you saying there is not a way to do this.

It could be done, but it's quite complex.

You could put all the sites into a single database, using different prefixes for each and then change the database_tables file to have all the sites point to the same EZ-Pages table.

Or you could change the EZ-Pages database extraction to bypass the Zen Cart database wrapper to go to somewhere else to grab the HTML content.

Probably best though is to make them all Zen Cart define pages, rather than EZ-Pages and then programme these pages for each site to all go to the same place to get their content.
