Our website is www.uksoccershop.com, we sell football shirts from all around the world. To be able to increase sales, we want to increase the numbers of banners / graphics we have on the site to promote our best products.

So for example, when a customer clicks on "Spanish teams" category, they should see graphics related to Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc, and when they click on Italian teams "Milan, etc".

An example of what we want can be seen at www.subside.co.uk.

Is this possible?

I imagine you can add html into the Categories Description field.
With html you'd be able to display the picture of your choice and link it to a specific product.

Go to Admin > Configuration > My Store > HTML Editor and select HTMLAREA

This will enable yout html area on your descriptions... or just add the code to the description (if you have the code to insert from your preferred computer editor).
