Thanks for all your help.
When I put the URL in the preview it tells me that the URL is not found.
The URL is:
http://www.mountainspices.com/catalo...esertspice.jpg
Thanks
The website is: http://www.mountainspices.com
Path to image: catalogue/images
Image name: Desertspice.jpg
Let me just confirm if the following is true, based on the info you provided...
Your main website is www.mountainspices.com and it is a "stand alone" website?
and
You have zen cart installed on this website inside the mountainspice.com directory?
and
you have named the directory that the cart is installed in "catalogue"?
and
the image file in question is located inside the image folder, which is inside the catalogue folder?
Not to insult your intelligence by asking basic questions, but I have learned from my own experience that often time it's the littlest things we overlook, especially when working on the cart for hours at a time
So let me ask you this...
You have tried inputting this URL into the box?
andHTML Code:http://www.mountainspices.com/catalogue/images/Desertspice.jpg
You have looked in your image folder to confirm that:
1. The file is indeed there
2. The file is indeed named Desertspice.jpg (with a capital D)
Also,
1. What method did you use to upload the file to the server? (FTP program? or ZenCart product image upload functionality?)
2. Do you use that image anywhere else in the store or on the site besides the ez page you want to use it on?
3. If so, is there any problem with it?
4. Have you tried using a different image to see if that solves the problem? (if it does, then delete the Desertspice.jpg from the server and then re-upload it).
The reason I asked this question:
2. Do you use that image anywhere else in the store or on the site besides the ez page you want to use it on?
Is because if you use the image elsewhere, such as a product image or category image, the image file may be somewhere else like....images/products or images/categories.
While awaiting your response, I looked around your site and noticed that you do indeed use this image as a product image. Is it possible that you uploaded the product image to images/products and not to the main image folder? Although you can upload images to any directory you want to, these are common directories/folders to use under those circumstances.
I ask this because the only reason for a broken link to show is that the add image tool is unable to locate the image using the image path you provided.
So before we look for bigger issues, I ask all these questions to rule out the little and most common possibilities.
If this helps, this is the location of the image being used:
http://www.mountainspices.com/images/DesertSpice.JPG Note the uppercase D and S and JPG suffix
Aloha from Hawaii! (its a dirty job, but SOMEBODY has to live here...)
In post 444, you say:
In post 445, you say:The website is: http://www.mountainspices.com
Path to image: catalogue/images
Image name: Desertspice.jpg
In post 450, you say:http://www.mountainspices.com/images/DesertSpice.JPG Note the uppercase D and S and JPG suffix
The file name used in the URL must match the actual file name exactly. According to the info you have provided, this is not the case. This is likely the cause of your problem.
If the D and S are capped in the file name, they must also be capped in the URL.
