    Default Problems with "Security Patches for v1.3.0x"

    For DrByte...
    I've read the "Security Patches for v1.3.0x" thread and made the changements, but I receive the message

    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/mhd-01/www.radicedidue.it/htdocs/catalog/includes/counter.php on line 23

    and the problem seems to be in the statement
    $autoLoadConfig = array();
    in includes/application_top.php

    I have v1.3.0.1 and I've not made other tests for the othe patches.
    What do you think? - Thanks
    Giovanni

    The patch is for version 1.3.0.2 if you are using version 1.3.0.1 you should get the changed files only version of 1.3.0.2 and upgrade your cart then apply the security patches.

    Hope that helps

    Tina, I must offer some clarification.

    The security patch applies to all of: v1.3.0, 1.3.0.1, and 1.3.0.2.

    Giovanni,
    merlin's right ... the correct way to fix application_top.php is to ADD the new line as described, and NOT to replace an existing line.

    OH Thanks for that tid bit - I have been upgrading everyone that wanted the patch added because I thought it was imperative for the patch to work - my bad - but hey all the carts I've applied patches to have been upgraded so that's a good thing :)

    I'm not clear whether you're still having problems or if there is still more to be sorted out...

    I'm a stupid!!!!!
    I had added
    $autoLoadConfig = array();
    AFTER
    include($base_dir . $loader_file);

    That was the error (I must read better the threads!)
    Thanks to all - Giovanni

    The upgrades were well worth it ... there were several bugs fixed in v1.3.0.2 ...
