Strange Error on Contact page.

After a long development period, our store is almost ready to go live, but I got a wild hair the other night and tried to do an upgrade through Fantastico on my webserver control panel (not a good idea). Long story short, I had my webhost restore my site from their tape backup in the hopes I could continue with the launch and mess with the upgrade later.

The site was restored, but they sent me a message that 3 files could not be restored - but they couldn't tell me which 3 (nice). Now I am playing clean-up and trying to look for abnormalities in the site and items that maigth have been missed.

I think I have everythign but the CONTACT US page has a strange chunk of code at the top of the page.. a duplicate of a content item, and the Page headings and such are not right.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this, or what file(s) I need to edit?

Figured it out (kind of). Everything returned to normal when I deleted the "contact_us.php" file from languages/english/(mytemplate). It must be pulling the text from the Admin setting.

I am still getting a 403 error in the admin when I try to edit the contact page verbage.

"You don't have permission to access /admin/define_pages_editor.php on this server."

Is this a permissions error on the server side? ANy thoughts?

Is this an error for other pages that you might attempt to edit?

As this statement would indicate that the file is not excecutable:

"You don't have permission to access /admin/define_pages_editor.php on this server."

But if you can edit other pages then it is functioning and you have another problem with the contact page.
