Changing color on New Product header

I'm a new Zenner and have had some success in modifying my template. I have gotten the background image in the headers changed, and have changed the font color for the sidebox headers but can't for the life of me find where to change the color for the centerbox header. I'm also having difficulty changing the a link colors in some areas. I've gotten some of the sideboxes changed, but not all of them. Are there any other css sheets besides the one in my store and in the default directory? Thanks for any suggestions to point me in the right direction. Linda

"Modifying your template..." Which template did you start from? (Template_default or one of the ones in the Download section would be the best start points.) You did make a new template directory to hold changed files? You ought to have a copy of stylesheet.css in your template directory; the copy in /template_default/ will be ignored when your custom template is active, and it should never be edited anyway.

The best way to find which classes/IDs to edit is to use Firefox and install the Web Developer extension. When that is activated, you can use Information > Display Id & Class Details to find things, and CSS > Edit CSS to try changes and see effects instantly.

If you find a class called out in the code which is not defined in the stylesheet, just add the definition you want. The devs have provided many "hooks" for customizers to use in styling, and they don't need to be in the stylesheet until they are wanted for customizing.

Yup.. that's the correct way to do, also to make sure future upgrade trouble free.

to change the color of the center box heading find this in your CSS:

h2.centerBoxHeading
