Item + shipping options

Does anyone know if there is a module that can deal with Zones, but that does the shippng cost in the following manor

1st item + fee per additional item, for zones

so 1st item costs 60p to ship + 20p per additional item in basket? for zones.

Handling is 40
Per Item is 20

NOTE: in next release of Zen Cart (v1.3.5) there will be Zones for Price, Weight or Items ...

Ah, thats not quite going to do it.

The way it works is, add a single item to the cart and shipping actually costs 0.66p, add 10 more items to the cart and each of those ten items adds a further 0.10p to the shipping cost.

Total cost for 11 items in cart = 1.66p


cool. When will that version be released and how easy will an upgrade from the current version be.

ah, wait a sec, I get it. Yes that will work for one zone, however I need to have this setup so that the following rule applies.

UK = 40p handling + 20p per item
US,CA = 40p handling + 40p per item
Euro # 50p handling + 30p per item

Can this table be replicated and worked like this.

Even beter, there is a perfect oscmax module for this, cst+ item + zone that she uses currently, can this be modified to work with Zen, since there are obvious similarities with zen and oscmax (thoughI quote from one customer who looked at a zen version of his current OSC shop after a transfer " Zen is far more powerful than osc"

Maybe you can assist me with some other minor tasks.

I have had alot of help from dbltoe with regards my complete screw up editing files instead of CSS, I am learning more and more about CSS, and have managed to do 99% of this site using only the cSS (I am impressed with myself on this one) www.spottedhaggis.com/jemima

however, I have a few minor niggles I need to work out.

1. if you go to the above site, note the home page has some text and an image, nothing more. I need to somehow move the text up so it is inline with the shop (where categories wuold be) but cant figure ut where it is.

2. I looked inside english.php but cant locate where I can de-capitalise home, login etc in the header nav bar?

one more thing, lol, I am actually enjoying playing with zencart, seeing what outcomes come, and it is so much more customisable than osc, its amazing.

Cant wait for the next release, 1.3.0.5 right? any due date on this, and whats it gona have in it?

View Source is your friend ...

Save that to an HTML file and play with the blank rows etc.

Find which is causing your issues ... and then locate what needs to be changed ...

Somebody is occupying space ... either an empty row or a class in the stylesheet etc.

So play with the HTML and see what would make things adjust if you were to fix that source manually ...

Then you know what needs fixing and can see if it is code or CSS stuff ...

Yeps ... I love it when I can be so techie like ... CSS stuff ...
