Hey guys and gals,
Let's say that I have a retail item that sells for $10.00, but that we always have it on sale for 5% off, or $9.95.
Is there a way to create a coupon that only takes x% off the RETAIL price, regardless of what the sale price is?
For example, if I want a special promotion that says, "From now until tomorrow, use this special coupon and save 10% off! Only applies to retail price and not sale price."
The short way around this is to create a coupon that only gives 5% off, and that way, combined with the 5% sale in existence, the customer would get 10% off.
However, we have many different sales and special pricing in our store, so that solution won't work. Do you know of anyway around this to where, regardless of the sale price, a coupon will work to only give a certain percentage off the retail price?
