Shopping cart. Where?

I am looking around at the free templats and stuff and I see that there can be a shopping cart up top. I don't see this in the default template or how to activate it in the admin. Can someone please advise?

I want something to appear in the top right like this.

Oh sorry, yes I have found the template. What I am asking is

1) How do you turn on the shopping cart. I have been clicking around the Layout Box Controller and I cannot get the shopping cart box to show.

2) How would I move the shopping cart to the top instead of the left or right column if I could get it to show?

There is no built-in display of shopping-cart details in the header.
Adding that will require custom coding in your custom tpl_header.php file.
You might try looking at how those other templates actually did it,and replicate relevant portions of their code...

In Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Shopping Cart box status, setting it to 0 will make the sidebox always show. Setting it to 1 will show only when full.

What is the layout box controller for then? I see a big line through the page. I note that the things above are viewable on the site and the things below are not. I could not find an explanation for this anywhere. How do I move something below the line above the line. Thanks

THe line is the divider between left/right columns.

If you edit a setting and set it to "right", it'll show below the line. Left goes above the line.

Ok but some of the stuff that is below the line does not show on the page at all. I know I have a lot to learn here but if I can hook on and understand one thing then I can build from there.

For instance, I have shoppingcart.php turned on and in the right column however it is not showing anywhere.

Sideboxes have several settings ...

In addition to show on Left/Right or On/Off or Sort Order ... some sideboxes have additional settings on "when" to show based on what page you are looking at ...

For example, Tell a Friend shows only if there is a products_id defined as in on a product_info page ...

Shopping Cart has additional switches on whether to show only when something is in the cart or always etc.

So you really would need to be a tad more specific about which sidebox is not working and an URL is rather helpful ...

Ok that makes a little more senes. Although I dont see all of those "settings" in the layout tool.

I am using the default classic Fantistico out of the box.
