always display subcategories in sidebox

Is it possible to get this mod to only extend the sub cats to the first level?

I've got about 1 gazillion subcategories (which can be confusing but unfortunately it's needed), and I'm trying to make it a little easier for my customers aren't familiar with online shopping.

Same here.. I just want to show top level categories and the first level of sub categories... any ideas??

The most current version of this mod ("Uncollapsed Categories Tree") is available from the maker's site, and posted in the forum under his username fragfutter.

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I go to the creator's site, I cannot find the file for download. Can someone point me to the right file location?
