Can I hide product price until added to basket?

Hello! I have a client who wants to sell a certain brand of badminton rackets on the website I'm developing for him, and this manufacturer (Yonex) doesn't allow discounted prices to be displayed on the product page. He wants it so the user must add the product to their basket to see the price. Is there any way of doing this in Zen Cart, so the price doesn't display on the product page?

At first I thought it was a crazy request, but I have found another e-commerce website doing it for Yonex too! Any help is much appreciated!! These forums are so helpful!

What about other products? Do they allow the price or just this one manufacturer?

It's just this particular manufacturer.
Apparently they don't allow retailers to advertise their products at anything below the RRP. It's bizarre, and I was going to tell my client that no-one would want to add a product to their basket without knowing the price, when I found another sports site doing it (check out http://www.centralsports.co.uk/shop....l&product=5815 to see). So I thought I'd better try and keep my client happy!! Any ideas are appreciated!!

This could be changed to alter the display price when the manufacturers_id is a certain manufactuer to not allow the price to show except in the shopping_cart ...

You'd need an function to check the Product manufactuers_id and then just before the normal processing of the price you would check the manufactuers_id and page ... if the page is the shopping_cart you send back the: Add to Cart to see it ... otherwise you continue to run the standard display price ...

Takes a little work, but it does work ...
