Scrolling News Articles & PHP Noobiness

Hi,

I grabbed the 'News & Article Management' mod as well as the 'Scrolling News Sidebox' from Dreamscape and everything works like it should, except I don't want the scrolling effect. I just need the news article to appear normally, nice and static, no movement! I know, it seems a little backward, but I really like the article management functionality. :)

I've attempted to hack apart the code but my php ability is horrendous! From a very basic point of view, I know what needs to be changed, I just can't seem to get it. I've attached the 3 files that make the magic happen.

I know this is asking a lot, but would anyone feel like taking a crack at this? I think for someone with more php knowledge this would be rather simeple.

I would really appreciate the help as I was hoping to go live by Sunday evening and this is one of the few remaining things I can't fix on my own.
