How do I remove "Home" from above Welcome Guest?

I'd like to know how to remove the home from above Welcome Guest..
I tried using the tips from a post that I found in the forum and that did not work for me..The code I had to look for in tpl_header.php was not there...Any other hints on how to remove it? Also I'd like it gone from every page. It has no purpose in being there and it's really bugging me.
Please help.

That's the part of the navigational bread crumb. If you just want to switch the whole bar off;

Admin-Config-Layout Settings-Define Breadcrumb Status: 0(off)

The "Home" serves as a link once the breadcrumb is active, for easier navigation.
