Installation error happen suddenly

When I install the cart, the page suddenly show the follows:

What does this mean? What should I do?

Sounds like a bad upload of your files ...

Perhaps reloading them would help ...

It means that the filename it mentioned doesn't exist on your server. Or if it does exist, you have set your permissions too tight and the webserver has no permission to access the file.

So, either you need to re-upload the files to your server, or set your permissions a little less strict.

Thanks Linda and DrByte. After I set the permission to higher, its work now. Right now I only set both configure.php files to 444.

1. What are the approiate permission for other files? Are the permission follow the installation procedure in faq enough for security?

2. What files cannot be set to the permission under certain level?

The answer to those questions depends totally on your hosting company's unique configuration of your webserver.
