Hello,
I want to prevent the categories from showing up. In the long run, I want to develop my own tab images there. I know this can be complicated, but can someone point me in the right direction and which files I need to look at in order to accomplish this? Thanks in advance

Turn them off in the Admin> configuration> Layout Settings.
