I know this has been asked before but i cannot see a way around it, or find a solution.
I need to price some products using attributes.
The default product needs to be 100g and say £20. Then i need to use an attribute to allow the choice of a sample packet (with weight -90g) and price -£15)
That's all fine and choosing the sample packet adds the correct item to the basket incl weight and price.
However, i have the problem that the dropdown does not display the actual (calculated) price and weight - it shows -90g and -£15, which just aint user friendly.
I have tried 'Priced by attributes' with the price set at £0, but not only does this not work for weight, it means the product appears in product listing as £5 (lowest attribute price), where i need the highest (standard) priced item to appear.
There must be a way of using attributes the 'normal' way, but making the dropdown show the calculated weight and price, in this example...
Standard (100g)
Sample Packet (10g) £5
Any ideas appreciated...
