Fatal Errors During Checkout

I've had more then one person bring it to my attention now and have used someones log in to see if for myself. I just changed servers but it isnt' the server side. I don't know if I had it before and no one told me but large orders keep getting this error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/memori00/public_html/shopping/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 172

How do I resolve this?

Large orders as in how many products?

If it is just a handful of items, it does fine, but say 20+ it runs into the problem. It was suggested to me to make an upgrade as I am at version 1.3.0.2.

Diana - I just ran an order with 35 items - using check / mo as payment (please delete the order ) and I have not a problem.

Deleted. It seems fine if it is that many items so long as they are in multiples, ie 5 or this 5 of that and so on. But when I have someone trying to check out for 1 or 2 each of that many items, they get the time out error.

Well I upgraded. Removed everything from the customers cart and started it over and I'm still getting errors. Here is the latest one:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /includes/functions/functions_prices.php on line 33

Total items in the cart is 132

Any ideas???

i have the exact same problem.

the clients that put 20+ items in their cart can't even go into their cart to delete the items anymore!

can i go in to delete the items for them in admin?

has anyone found a solution to this?

and now there is complains that the login is screwed up to.. apparently it keeps jumping back to the "hello visitor,would you like to log in" page after logging in.

but i can't seem to be able to reproduce the login problem.. so weird~

On these products ... how many colors am I suppose to pick?

1 or as many as I want?
