Upgrading SQL DB from 1.2.7 to 1.3.5

I've backed up my 1.2.7 SQL DB and now want to import into my 1.3.5 install. I've seen a couple of posts stating that you should drop all tables from the new 1.3.5 install, then bring in your old (existing) DB from 1.2.x.

But wouldn't dropping all tables in the 1.3.5 install remove any new tables that are not in 1.2.x (like ezpages??...I'm assuming new tables have been created in 1.3.5)

Do you drop tables in 1.3.5 before importing 1.2.x, or not drop and just overwrite all tables that exist, keeping any new tables created in 1.3.5??

The upgrader will build all the new tables, so you need to drop them first.

OK - having a few issues here.

I am attempting an upgrade from 1.2.4 - to 1.3.5

And I am having issues with the DB not pathcing iteslf correctly.

I have a fresh install of 1.3.5 running in a different folder on the server.

    So, I should

    1. drop all tables of the 1.3.5 DB

    2. import the 1.2.4 DB sql

    3. Then run the upgrader in the zc_install files.

    ??

oops - doh - and other such "I am a dumbass" comments

I had made a mistake in the Admin configure files - the admin configure was looking at the old DB - sorted now
