If you haven't added any other modules, the first install option is the easiest.

The sandbox account is a good idea. Especially as you don't have a SSL certificate. You can test in sandbox without having SSL. You will be able to test the creation of orders and how they process from start to finish through GCO. Then, when you do get a SSL cert, you will have any problems, like shipping configurations, already solved.

You will need to have SSL installed on your cart to get the full benefits of the GCO mod in production. Without it you can still get orders processed through Google, but the info will not be passed back to your admin. You will have to go to your Google account each time to finish the processing. With SSL all the payment and order info will be fed back to your cart so that you can do all the processing from within your admin.

The absense of Google buttons on checkout pages is by design. You should have one (as you do) on your login page and on the shopping cart when there is merchandise in it. This was to satisfy the terms of Google's usage agreement at the time the mod was built.

Ah thanks so much for clearing things up for me. It seems i need to purchase a SSL cert from dreamhost. I hope its not hard to do this and integrate it with my site. A sandbox is just a normal account then ? I have to sign up twice with Google checkout ? Or is there a special place i need to go too ?

Also is their some special place on my site i can advertise that i accept more then paypal ? Sorta like how paypal has that " paypal certified logo" for zen cat .

Yes, 2 accounts required for googlecheckout, sandbox and live mode...
ssl not required in sandbox mode...
LIVE mode
must have ssl..i.e.
SSL.. CERT has to be in list of those approved via Google..i.e.

still havn't got it to work correctly on my site, still ggetting errors when google passes back the country. zencart has required information which google not passing. google is set correct as instructed, all other information is sent to zencart but as the country list is a drop down its giving an error

Where’s the Button For Google Check out?

-really lost now,

I've installed & enabled but I can't find where the customer would access it in the check out?

It would make sense for it to go on step 2 of 3, but there's no Radio button for it like Pay Pal, COD have.... and no other Graphic is being displayed either?

I went to Google to look for a check out button but I not sure if that's what I need or how to install it so it integrated with my GC?

I tried gobrinton's Fix with no luck-

I am using a custom Template and I wonder if that's some how preventing the button from showing up?

Please Help

Template looks like design from Template Monster..if so,
search these forums for Template Monster...their templates
dont play nicely with zencart...

If googlegcheckout button not appearing, make sure you have uploaded all files
and folders contained in googlecheckout zip file, correctly...
Also check what happens when you switch templates to Classic, default zencart template..
do you get button appearing then...this module is best installed using Classic template first...
