    Default Trying to change a heading color

    Hi all. I've been digging around my files and searching the net for hours....I'm trying to change the text color of the main heading, the text on this page:

    http://www.twistedsteel4x4.com/index...ain_page=index

    that says "Welcome to the Twisted Steel 4x4 Online Catalog"

    We're using a modified version of the Purpleshades template, and I had run into a problem with the peekaboo bug. The fix for it has left us now needing to change the color of that text.

    I can't find it!!!!!!!

    When I view the source code for the page, I see it calling this:

    <div id="indexDefaultMainContent" class="content"><h1 align="center"><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="4">Welcome to the Twisted Steel 4x4 Online Catalog.......</font></h1>

    I've changed the color of EVERY H1 I can find in my stylesheets, and I'm totally stuck. I can't figure out where it is...

    So, as a result, I'm here...crying for help....could somebody maybe point me in the right direction here? I'm getting a headache from beating my head against this brick wall.....

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Hey, being a YJ'er I took interest in your site...

    You have done more than a bit of adding to the css and I am bot positive that it is vaild...

    Yes it is called as H1....but it is this bit of code that controls it
    Code:
    /*center main section
    -----------------------------------*/
    TD.pageHeading, DIV.pageHeading, h1 {
      font-size: 16px;
      font-weight: bold;
      color: Black;
      padding-top: 11px;
      }
    as this is far down, it is probably overridind the other declarations and as this is not a table the div is controlling

    You do have a mess in the css with repeating statements etc...might be the time for a cleanup IMO

    Thanks for the reply!

    Actually, the only changes I've made to the stylesheet were color changes, and background image changes. I didn't otherwise modify the existing template code.

    Aside from that, I made one change for the IE Peekaboo fix, that I got from here. That's it.

    I'll take a look at that section of the css and see if changing the color there will fix it.

    Oh, and...a YJ'er, eh? We've also got a forum, at http://www.twistedsteel4x4.com/forum

    Really, I use FireFox, & the web tools and it changed right before my eyes...

    Are you viewing in FireFox or IE? there might be differences there??

    Did you Refresh/flush the cache?? As sometimes the browser loads cached info?

    No other Ideas as this is the entry...
    Will look at the forum...

    Post back with what you find...
