In which case basic encryption is not working on your domain. Make sure that cURL is compiled into PHP.

Do you really mean to say cURL here? Is that really related to the password encryption Zen uses?

Isn't it just a wrong combination of username and password superprg? You really filled in "Admin" as username?

    super pop into phpmyadmin

run the sql statement I listed above
remember that if you use a prefix ( zen_ ) to add it to the line

    INSERT into zen_admin for example..

then just use Admin for username and admin for password,

    this works like a charm,

I'm not certain at this stage (although I will be as I get up to speed on Zen Cart) whether it uses its own mechanism to encrypt the password or uses cURL for basic encryption. However, given that the admin's email address was changed and a new password sent out it should now be working. As 'superprg', which I assume stands for 'super programmer', describes themselves as 'advanced programmer' I'm assuming that they are getting the basic things right. Of course, I could be in error on that point!

This is typically a result of misconfigured PHP components, especially related to Sessions.

When you installed, were there any red warnings about PHP settings?

Can you post a link to your zc_install/techsupp.php file?
