Default Deleting sessions from the database?

Is this done simply by by pressing the "Empty" button for that table under myphpadmin?
Just thought I would ask before going click happy.
Im having issues with having to re-log into admin. Some time back I was told it could be a session issue. If I delete my admin cookie its fine until I access certain tools.

Backup first, then click the empty command.

I am still having log in issues. IE,FF,Safari. Win and Mac.

    I have
    cleared cache
    Deleted cookies
    Deleted sessions from db.

    Any more ideas.

I log in and am able to access admin tools for 1-2 clicks. From there I get tossed back to a log in screen. If I re-log, Its a circle till I delete my cookies.

I was having a bad day with issues ... and I did the following:

    Closed all browser windows

    Cleared cache

    Deleted Cookies

    Went to phpMyAdmin and emptied:
    db_cache
    sessions
    whos_online

Note: I am assuming you store sessions in your database ...
