Leaving spaces between categories in the categories box

hello.

if possible, i would like to leave spaces between the categories in the categories box.

note: i would prefer to do it via the admin page without any doing any code stuff.

at the moment, the categories box looks like this:

category 1
category 2
category 3
category 4
category 5
category 6


i would like it to look like this:

category 1

category 2

category 3
category 4
category 5
category 6

One method is the "fake" Category Name where you do not give a Category Name, but do use the Sort Order so that they Categories fall in the right order ...

The "fake" no name Categories would be blank and not display anything in their slot ...

It require small tweaking, but similar effect you can get by adding:

"line-height: 2em;"

into you "stylesheet.css" to

".leftBoxContainer, .rightBoxContainer {" section.

My section in css looks like this:

.leftBoxContainer, .rightBoxContainer {
margin-top: 0.1em;
margin-bottom: 1em;
background-color: #eeeeee;
border: 0px solid #003366;
line-height: 2em;
}
"
One thing more - all listed categories will be affected.
