help with template

I am currently trying to learn how to create and customise a template but i am having problems disabling the right column, i have read all the threads but still no luck, global settings is set at 0, all the layout boxes have been taken out but still you continue to see the right side colour which show that the right column is still active, here is the link http://www.glamandbeauty.com/womanwithcurves/

Since your site's source still with the

You may want to check again, there are several settings in admin
=> Layout Settings

Column Left Status - Global 1 (default setting)
Column Right Status - Global 1 (default setting)

Column Left (or Right) Status - Global
Show Column Left (or Right), unless page override exists?
0= Column Left (or Right) is always off
1= Column Left (or Right) is on, unless page override

If Column Left/Right Status = 1 ,
then the column space will occupy, no matter if there have contents or not
If Column Left/Right Status = 0 ,
then the column space will not occupy, no matter if there have contents or not.

For the above "unless page override", it should check if there are modifications or changes to the tmplate files.


And the other settings that will neglect easily sometimes.

Column Width - Left Boxes 150px (default setting)
Column Width - Right Boxes 150px (default setting)

Column Width - Left (or Right) Boxes
Width of the Left (or Right) Column Boxes
px may be included
Default = 150px

The width of the sideboxs, which should be equal or narrower than the Width of the Column.
