Is there a setting to turn off categories...

Is there a setting in the admin that I've overlooked that will say "If a category has 0 products, do not show category" ? It seems like a logical setting, but i don't see it.

There are too many reasons that a Category may or may not have 0 Products and some shops want some of these to show and others to not show ...

Hence ... there is the categories_status to manage this for you ...

Just turn off the Category you do not wish to show ... by changing the status from Green to Red ...
