    Default Your Shopping Cart is empty.

    Hi all,
    Suddenly my shopping cart gives me the next error when trying to add a new product "Your Shopping Cart is empty." I also cannot log into my admin page . any help?

    if you mean the hosting company it's bluehost Dot Com. It was working fine yesterday

    I also use bluehost. This is the problem and how to fix it.
    log in to your bluehost control panel and open the ftp manager. You need to edit the public_html/php.ini file.

    Open the php.ini file and find the line that contains "registered_globals off"
    change the off value to on.

    This should fix the problem!

    Bluehost claims that I must have edited this value but I know I did not and the fact you have the same host and problem, I think it's them.

    Okay I dont see this file in my public html at all. According to what I know is that Zen cart can function with register global set OFF. Because setting register global to on has security isues

    I did set it to on and I still have the same problem

    I even cannot install a new copy

    Check your includes/configure.php file and admin/includes/configure.php file - and make sure that for http_server they actually have your domain name and not just http://localhost
