Different Payment Methods

I have downloadable products as well as cd's of these downloadable products that can be purchased as a volume for less money. The downloadable products will be payed through credit card(authorize.net AIM). I do not need or want authorize.net to make money off of the cd's because those credit transactions will be handled by my company's sales dept. I have my authorize.net aim module activated and functioning properly for my downloads. I would like to activate the normal credit card module for the CD's. (i.e. customer chooses downloads and get directed to authorize.net payment page or customer chooses cd's and gets directed to credit card module.) Either that or is there anywhere in the code that I can write above both payment types, telling the customer choose this payment type for downloads or choose this payment type for CD's? Any help with this would rock as it's the last step in finishing my very first ZEN CART!

Everything is set up in volumes. We sell CD's of those volumes. They can opt for purchasing singular downloadable products. The CD's cannot be downloaded because the file sizes are too large. I'm not sure if that answers your question.

Not really ...

I go to your site and add to my cart the CD for REM ...

Then I add to my cart a download for Aha ...

Now I have both a Product (CD) and a Download in my cart ...

What payment module should now be in charge of the order when I go to checkout?

There is a function in the shopping_cart class to determin the type of order that exists in the cart ...

$_SESSION['cart']->get_content_type()

You could use this to disable AuthorizeNet when the order is 'virtual' ...
