    Default Customer doesn't receive emails, I receive copies

    Hi,

    When a user registers, or places an order, they don't receive an email, but I receive a copy. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

    I am using v1.3.6.

    I have tested using Gmail and Mail.com addresses to register, and in both cases I receive copies, but the customer does not.

    My email settings are as follows:

    1. what domain are these customers at?
    ... a) Is your hosting company's server blacklisted by their domain?
    ... b) have you tested multiple non-free email destinations ? Sometimes hotmail and yahoo accounts will dump unexpected emails

    2. have you tried using SMTPAUTH as well as your current SMTP transport method?

    Thanks for the reply.

    Tested with a non-free email and it works, the customer receives an email.

    I will try SMTPAUTH to see if that will stop the free accounts stopping the emails coming in.

    Switching over to SMTPAUTH did the trick.
