moving entire store ...easy way?

hi all,

i resisted change until i couldnt anymore.

now i have 2 stores in parallel.

1 in 1.2.7 with all the items etc.

the other in the latest ZC version with no products in it.

I simply want to move the products from the 1.2.7 to the 1.3.5 version and then get rid of the old version.

is there a way i can export the stuff from 1.2.7 in it's entirety and then import into 1.3.5?

(it would be good if there was that's for sure)

Yes ... backup the old database ... import it into the new database ... upgrade the new one using zc_install. It will detect the old structure, and offer you the ability to upgrade through all the version steps.

There are a number of threads and documents explaining the upgrading process, of which the database portion is simply a part. One doc is in your /docs folder.

my store is already installed though...can i just import the products and categories and that will bring across descriptions etc?

ive already set it all up with mods/layout etc.
