Customizing the look of the header Search form. Submit image and background color.

I'd like to know how to change the look of the Search box in the admin area to have an image background and image submit button. I searched around but couldn't seem to find where to edit it at. Any help would be great. I'm just getting started on my shop to get it lookin' good. Thanks!

Most do not config the admin and these files are not included in the override system...

load the admin page and view the source...find the code that displays this and using the admin developers tools search the admin files for this

I'm not sure you get what I'm talking about. The search site box on the customer site, where they put in the product name and search for it (Enter search keywords here). You know how it's white background, then changes to blueish. The search box on the top of the classic theme in the gray strip. How can I access this to change the look of it?

Also, how would I change the text "Enter search keywords here." I'd like it to read "Enter Search Term."

I'm having the same problem.
The search box is a sickly blue that doesn't suit my site at all.
