I need to make some additional pages (for example filename.php)

I copied the index.php to a new file and uploaded it. I haven't yet made any content changes, but have two errors.


(1) This line appears at the top:

(but this message doesn't appear on my index.php page)


(2) My sideboxes aren't truly "live". for example, any changes I make to the categories aren't reflected on this page.

The easiest way to add pages is to download the about us page mod from the downloads area and use it as a guide. There are approximately 10 "pages" of code that will need to be created for your new page to be created.

Easier yet, use ezpages to make any additional pages.

I'm not having any luck with EZ pages. I can't seem to name the pages. (like filename.php)

EZ Pages can not be named at this time. If you need "named" pages follow Tina's advice and add pages using the defined pages system.

I am getting much closer - thank you - but not quite there.

I have followed the steps for the ABOUT_US mod.

My new page is showing up in the defined pages editor and I can add content fine.

But it is not yet view in the site map and I can't bring the page up at the site.

I want to call this page certification-exams.php

When I type that it doesn't exist - and neither does domainname.com/index.php?main_page=certification-exams

everywhere that it said about_us in all those files, I entered certification-exams
