Website move not working

I recently moved the files to a different server, and now it doesn't work, all the files, i think are there but it won't show the index.php, please help?

You need to adjust your config files, includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php, to match your current database setup. If not sure, your Hoster should be able to help.

Thanks for response, Im actually getting somewhere. When i change the directories in the ones you have provided, no I get this error message and don't know what it means

Would seem like you are missing at least one file.

Many times, when uploading hundreds of files in one go, some will fail and not be uploaded. One would hope you have an FTP program that tells you these things, so you know which files to reupload. Otherwise, you have to manually go through each dir. on your Hosting account and compare with the dir. on your computer.

Thanks, but one more thing. Sorry, im have problems wth this whole site thing, but when i try to go to my admin it gives me this page

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields

you need to make adjustments to your admin/includes/configure.php as well

Fixing both configure.php files in "/admin/includes/" and in "/includes/" does get rid of the 0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED error on the index page when migrating

... although I now have the same problem with the Admin log in screen. It does not appear and instead there is a similar "failed to open stream:" error message. This has something to do with moving to a new server set up. Am running ZC 1.2.6.

Fixed.

This problem is because includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php had /domains/sitename.com instead of /home/5976/domains declared as the path. This caused problems with properly locating the right location for the cart in Media Temple's Grid Server.
