Downloading product problem

I'm sure this is something so easy and I am just being stupid about it....

I am trying to set everything up to download digital scrapbooking kits. I have the attributes set up like I am supposed to, the files are zipped and in the /downloads folder in the store, you are able to go clear through the checkout process and I get to the spot where you can download the files - it shows all four file names in .zip format, it shows the size (they range from 1.38 MB - 19.44MB). You click on the download button, it gives you the choice whether to open, save, etc...and then....you get NOTHING!!! The .zip file is a whopping 11.7 KB.

What am I doing wrong????

Sitting on a server with an 8mb limit and trying to download an 11+mb file?

Check with your hosting site about the download limitations and see if they can up your site to handle the size files you need to work with ...

Is this a unix or windows server?

Note: if windows server, turn the Redirect to OFF
