Linking Multiple Items

Sorry if anyone has convered this before (i couldnt find mention of it) - I know there is a way of putting a product into multiple categories but what about putting multiple products (altogether in one category already) into another category (linked) all at the same time - its a bit laborious having to go through and do each individual one manually! Any ideas? e.g. I have lots of dragons listed in Gothic Fantasy directory but I also wish them to show in the Dragons directory

Might do a good back up of your database ...

Then go to the Categories/Products and Click on the Multiple Categories Links Manager ...

Copy ALL Products in a Category as LINKED Products to another Category ...
Example: Using 8 and 22 would Link ALL Products in Category 8 to Category 22
Select All Products in Category: Link to Category:

NOTE: Categories only show in this area that contain at least 1 Product ...

Never saw the Global Category Link changes bit at the bottom and if I did it sounds a bit to hairy to mess with!

Looks a tad scary but it is handy to have the feature if you use it carefully following a backup ...
