category meta tag buttons

The meta tag buttons do not show up for the categories in my shopping cart.

Is there somewhere that I may have turned off this feature?? I have looked in your forums, but there is nothing mentioned there about a setting to turn them on and off, just the button which is not showing up in my cart.

I have looked there don't see what I want. It is orange there is no number showing about 2.7 my guess.

I see the meta tags button at the top of the page but not next to the categories on the right.

Your tutorials do not address this issue as far as I can see. I found the tutorial about where they talk about how to use them not how to turn them on.

I think if you are using a zen-cart prior to 1.3 you won't have meta-tag buttons for the categories. The newer version of zen-cart has them.
