Default Attribute that is a multiplier?

I am new to zen cart- I'm getting bogged down in attributes...

I have a Bed & Breakfast, and one of the things I want to sell are gift certificates. The certificates are for stays at the B&B, so I have a dropdown to select the room, and radio buttons to select certificate style. See example at http://giftshop.losgatosbandb.com/ca...products_id=19

Now I am trying to figure out how to offer a multiplier... how can a customer buy a certificate for two nights (or more). If I make another pull down with 1,2,3..., is there a way to use that value to multiply the price in the rooms pulldown?

I can use the "add to cart" value, but it is confusing, I would rather have the page be more intuitive.

    Any Ideas?

Your attributes are not appearing in the cart ...

If you switch to Classic Template ... do they now show up?

The classic template is in now... no difference in the cart. (I changed the color & logo before catching onto the custom template scheme.)

I added a dropdown called "Number of nights" and played with the factor value. The factor for "1 night" is 0, "2 nights" is 1, "3 nights" is 2... It does sort of what I want, but the factor seems to have a predetermined price ($119, the lowest attribute price) instead of the price selected in the Rooms dropdown. I'm not finding info on price factor, offset, one time factor, et al from the Attributes Controller in the FAQ.

The Price factor is designed to take the products_price and multiply that by a factor ... example:

    products_price 119.00

    attributes_price_factor 1

    Attribute Price is 1 * 119.00 = $119.00

    products_price 119.00

    attributes_price_factor .10

    Attribute Price is .1 * 119.00 = $11.90

However ... there is no relationship to the Gift Certificates unless this is a Product that is specifically a Gift Certificate ...

Hmmm...so I could make gift sertificates for each room as a separate product (mebbe "Choose a Room" type certificates as some sort of sub-catagory?), then the factor would have a valid price to work on. Seems simple- I'll give it a try!

    Thanks Ajeh!
