Any hack to get around customer account creation?

I read in another thread that it's not possible to have customers buy something directly without creating an account.

This is a BIG problem for me because I have a single product to sell with no return business expected/desired. Requiring customers to create accounts will seriously hamper my potential sales.

So I was wondering if there is some hack/workaround to skip account creation (e.g., by creating a dummy account gets automatically logged in behind the screen)?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

As much as I recommend Zen Cart, I have to ask why not use a simpler program for a single product?
