Attributes for one product...

Hello there all,
I am trying to add the attributes & am lost.
I need one product to have the dropdown menu for the different flavors of this particular item.
How do I do this?

I would like to know this also, as I am setting up a new item that comes in different sizes, and have never added attributes before. Is there a concise, easy to understand explanation on how to do this?
