cloning table module problems

I have used the search as some of the posts suggest but I can't seem to find any CLEAR CONCISE straight forward simple instructions for cloning the table module.

The closest thing I found was a dead link that was in Dutch anyway.

I've been trying for hours (again) from bits and pieces of threads from my various searches but I am getting PHP errors etc.. . No such thing on line blah blah etc...

I was just simply trying to clone the table shipping module.
I'm not how to be more specific. I finally figured it out but decided to move on tt the MZMT module instead. Now I am encountering some problems with that but those are in another thread. Thanks though!
