Default Price factor not being applied correctly

    Hi

I'm having a problem applying the price factor correctly to my attributes. I have set up two product names: Size (dropdown) and Colour (radio button) and applied the appropriate values.

I've set up an attribute for a particular colour (Birch) with a price factor of .10 and offset to 0. i.e. it's 10% more expensive. However, this increment is only being calculated based on the lowest item in the Size dropdown box.

How do I get the +10% applied to each size selected from the dropdown?

Your thoughts/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I too, am having this exact same problem and despite much searching I cannot find the solution. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Try this for some help (although I'm not sure if it contains the exact answer)

The Price Factor takes the base products_price to compute the price of the attribute using it ...

When using Priced by Attribute it takes the lowest price of all of the attributes to compute this price ...

It was not designed to recalculate based on a mixture of attributes with changing prices that make a new products_price on the fly as attributes are changed ...

Yeah, I realise that now! I've implemented another, more time-consuming way of doing what I need but at least it's working. Thanks for the reply though :)

If this way of calculating prices could be added at some point it would be great.

Right, I'm off to set up 624 new attributes
