Help with sidebox colors

are they even called sideboxes? I have changed text colors and backgrounds in the stylesheet but i cant find an article on changing the boxes from the green that came with the classic template. Is this possible? or do i have to have another template? Please help http://cdone.net/store thanks.

Thanks for pointing me back to the tutorials but that dont help me. I had to go into my store and find: \includes\templates\classic\images and find a small piece called "tile_back.gif" . I then took that tiny piece into photoshop and changed the color of the gif by going to: Image/adjustments/hue saturation. I re-saved that gif and uploaded it and my whole site change from the green to the new color with the awesome gradient still intact. Thanks. hope this helps someone else who gets stuck like me.

Hi,

Instead of editing the image file edit the css file. This way you can easily switch images or switch with templates.

Find stylesheet.css in \includes\templates\your_template\css

Look at

.leftBoxHeading, .centerBoxHeading, .rightBoxHeading {
margin: 0em;
background-color: #abbbd3;
background-image: url(../images/tile_back.gif);
padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
}


and enter the new image name as the new background image.
