UK Date Format

I am having a problem with changing the date format from US to European (UK).

I followed the instructions at http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/Date_Format and everything seemed to work Ok until a new customer registration form is completed.
The form asks for the date in format dd/mm/yyyy, but on submission returns an error saying the date should be in dd/mm/yyyy format, but will not accept the form until it is entered as mm/dd/yyyy.

There is obviously something else which needs altering that I am missing.

Can anyone enlighten me?

The 2nd is prolly easier to follow tbh, Works like a charm just some editing to be done.

Cor that would be far better, I have just posted elsewhere that one change I made I lost all of my cart! Fortunately just templates, & two products in testing cart.

For those already familiar its got to be worth having this I agree as a download job than fiddling with so many different php files in folders, I just get lost....

Has anyone made this available to download? From past experience with both OSc and CRE I'm vrey reluctant to edit any core files

Has this file been made available to download as yet? Re: altering date format? I too have tried to do this and the site went belly up so would like any help posisble to make it easier. Also applies to the customer title (Mr, Mrs etc) - can only get Mr and MS at this stage (standard) but would like to add others to my site. Help please??
