Adding reviews Manually

Greetings all:
I just added a review manually by editing the db files. Everything seems to have worked OK EXCEPT, when I view the main page or the product page the review doesn't show up. the main page show "no pproduct reviews"

When I go tinto the admin section, I can review and edit the profduct review and I have made it active. Any suggestions out there?

create a new user manually, buy the product you want to have a review and buy it with check/money order add the review to the fake purchase.

lol. sorry thats true, however I got all my clients sites setup to where a purchase is required.

Guess I forget that I manually coded this.

What is the alternative to faking a sale to add a review then ?

Just go to the product and click write a review button follow instructions.

You have to be a registered user I believe.

Try it see what happens.
