Different table rates for different items?

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to have different table rates for different items?

We are working on a store with three items. Each one has a different table for shipping rates (ie: one items has something like 1-25 qty: $10 shipping, 26-35 qty: $15 shipping, etc, while another item has something like 1-10 qty: $8 shipping, 11-20 qty: $12 shipping, etc).

I am recommending they merge this somehow into a single table and use the
"table rate" shipping module, but I am wondering if it is possible to actually support this level of complexity with any off-the-shelf zen cart shipping modules?

This would require quite a bit of custom coding to make this works ...

If you use attributes then it is even more of a nightmare ...
