Hi,

i am trying to setup online products where i am able to list a product, take payment and then allow the customer to download the product directly, has this been done before using Zen Cart ?

if so, can anybody point me in the right direction on how to set this up.

This is done with the Option Names, Option Values, Attributes ...

You may wish to install the current version of Zen Cart and load the demo data so you can see how this and other features work ...

In addition ... you have features where if a particular payment method is used you can decide if the download is available immediately or if the order needs approve ... this is nice for credit card vs check/money order ...

And you have a feature to re-activate an expired download or multiple downloads on a per order per download basis ...

There are quite a few things that you can do with downloads in Zen Cart ... I think you will like it ...
