Template changer on front end

Is there a good way to put a template changer on the front side of the store to demo the templats I have made?

There's an example at (sorry, site offline). I chose to do this as a sidebox, though recently have been considering switching to a pull down menu in the header instead. The key is to override the default template selection in includes/init_includes/init_templates.php. If you PM me an email address, I'll send you some example code.
