Date available question

Could anyone confirm that you cannot use the “Date Available” on the product information page to automatically turn a product on when that date arrives? Better yet, can anyone tell me how I can do this?
With over a thousand new items coming in at once, it sure would be great not to have to turn each on manually.

I can confirm that "Date Available" does not turn on the products on that date. Unfortunately its not built into the ZC code at this time but I really hope it one day is.. definitely would be a useful feature :)

Its gonna be killer to add all those new items at once.. better get a lot of coffee
