Lavender Template Support Thread

I want to install this template. But I am not really understanding the instructions. My FTP doesn't really allow me to just drag and drop. Its a free WS_FTP95.

I know there is an INCLUDES folder. So do I just open the INCLUDES folder on my server and unload everything from the downloaded INCLUDES folder to there?

And then load the rest of the stuff to the templates folder under its own name?

If someone can give me a step by step instruction on how they did this, that would be great. Also please let me know if I have to change the permission to any of them, like ChMod.

Hello!
I've installed the lavender template and my client is using subcategories.
When you click on the category name and go to that page with the sub categories listed, there should be a box in front of each.... what is showing up looks like this:

Where do I go to fix this? Can I use a jpg or gif of my own???

One image as a backgroung image can be applied in the css for the ul li for this.

Different images for each is another thing all together...

Hi,
I'm just about to load the Lavender template & thought I'd read about any issues first.
Saw this post & clicked on the website link to take a look.
Home page was great, nice size etc but was wondering why it was off to the right?
Then I clicked on a few of the links: went to the fragrences section & clicked on one of them - why is the template back to the Classic default size???
is this something that always happens?
Or has he set up something that changes the original size?
I have come to this template because of the larger template width, & because of the Better Categories module included.
Be grateful for some clarification before I go ahead with this.

Go to this site http://www.zencarttemplates.info/ and select the lavender template...this is how it should function and this is on Zen Cart 1.3.8.

You might also preview other templates that are there

Hi,
I am making some process with the my zen cart. I would like to use the lavender template and add my logo. The problem I am having is how to upload the template files so I can add them. I don't know if I am doing this right, follow tutorial "create a new Custom Template?" Any help with this and I would be most grateful

You do not need to follow the tutorial as the template is already made...

there is an includes folder with the template after you expand and on your pc....use your ftp client and get to where you can see on your host the admin, email, includes and other folders.

Select the local includes and transfer it, this might be the arrow or drag and drop - if drag&drop just drop it into the host space not on any one folder. This will transfer the files to their respective areas.
