Order Steps (tableless) support thread

Trial and error worked. I figured out that to widen the boxes i needed to edit the width in here:

.progressmeter li {float:left; width:10em; min-height:3em; margin:0 .6em; padding-left:3em; color:#000; background:#b9cfe7 url(../images/numbers.gif) 0 4px no-repeat; list-style-type:none;}

I will work a bit more by trial an error to try to align things. I love the add-on though!

Quick question. In earlier posts of this thread, some screenshots were showing a progress bar. Has this been removed in later versions or did i mess up something to make it disappear since i never saw it in my store.

Thanks Clyde for your help. Now, i have everything on my live store and it works great except for one detail. There is something that seems to "stick" from my trials, as you can see here:


That part about "step 3 out of 4" stays there. I assume it is just a little thing that i either placed in the wrong location or forgot to delete. It shows only on the French and it is showing even when i log out. And it is not all the time. Could you point me to what file might be the culprit?

(beside that, everything works like a charm, even with the edited box sizes and such)

I just opened the French page on my store from a different computer (at work) and i still see the same "3 out of 4" thing (i initially thought it had to do with cache or somehting on my computer). Any idea what file is doing that?

I'd only be guessing, but its probably some of the files in:

includes/languages/French/extra_definitions/YOUR_TEMPLATE

or

includes/languages/french/YOUR_TEMPLATE

Thank you. That was it. I had an extra set of the checkout_ files (no idea why). I deleted them and it is gone.

Any idea why I get ORDER_REVIEW, TEXT_ORDER_STEPS_INFO, and TEXT_ORDER_STEPS _1, _2, _3, and _4 instead of the correct verbage?

I have the newest version in the downloads section installed on a new installation of 1.3.9h.

I have FTP'd the files numerous times thinking a file or two may not have transferred but no luck.
